was held in Chicago, Illinois on September 6-13. Unfortunately, a very few PKM's were on display.
The Tricept by was
present only virtually on a videotape in the booth of their US distributer
. Index Corporation had
a new 3-axis PKM lathe, while
had their small Delta robot, the FlexPicker, whizzing around. An interesting application was
demonstrated by as their
Z3 Head, originally developped by .
The spindle head is a 3-PRS parallel mechanism providing a pure translation and two rotations.
Finally, made their unexpected appearance with their
Hexabot in collaboration with ,
using the hexapod as a working table but misteriously covering its insides with bellows.
